At NeXum Legal, we believe your personal data should be handled carefully and confidentially. In this privacy statement we explain which data we process, why we do so and how we protect your data.
Which data do we process?

Microsoft 365 and online case environment
For our work we use Microsoft 365 for, among other things, email, calendar and documents. We also use an online case environment for securely managing files and documents. We ensure that access to these systems is only possible for persons authorised to do so.
With whom do we share your data?
We do not simply share your personal data with third parties. This only happens when necessary for our services or when we are legally obliged to do so.
This may for example be the case with lawyers, notaries, experts, courts, government agencies or parties that support us with our administration and IT.
How do we protect your data?
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Because we work with confidential legal information, we pay extra attention to the security and confidentiality of your data.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary. Certain data is subject to statutory retention periods. When data is no longer needed and there is no legal obligation to keep it, it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under certain conditions, you have the right to:
- inspect your personal data;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have data deleted;
- have the processing restricted;
- object to certain processing operations.
